The thing about Boulder, Colorado is....there is not a damned chick-fil-a in sight. It really tears at my heart strings. I love myself some chicky so when my friend David offered to drive myself and my chick-fil-a virgin friends to this sacred place I immediately cleared my schedule. Not only did I nom my face off but we went and took pictures off the side of the highway. They came out really nicely and they capture the essence of Boulder. Peace.
Such a lovely weekend. Its windy but it is still sunny and beautiful.
Keep a look out for all of the jewelry I will be posting on my etsy tomorrow!
I wanted to wear this outfit out to a party this weekend but the collared shirt made it too preppy for an evening out in Boulder, so I ditched the undershirt and wore just the sweater promising I would lookbook the outfit later. (A promise I make to myself way too often and never follow through with.)
But I actually did it! And the outfit was perfect for my coffee && meeting with a lovely woman from Career Services here at CU. This look is put together but still has the edge I like to believe I have.
This little guy was a pain in the butt to make because I had to wait for shipments from all over the place but overall I am pleased with the results. I am tempted to make a video of me making one and walking you guys through it or I might just take pictures and explain each step. Depends on how I feel this week. This sort of thing comes really easy to me so I hope I can help explain it well.
P.S. keep an eye on my etsy I will be posting all sorts of treats to sell this week and weekend. >.<
Keep it classy
Oh and this is the song that the look is titled after....if a boy ever sings this song to me I will marry him on the spot.
Perfect for a full morning of classes, lots of consumed coffee, and dinosaur egg oatmeal.
9:30-1:45, and to think I used to wake up at 7:30 and go to school until 4 o'clock?! High school, those were NOT the days.
Happy Thursday to all of you and happy weekend to me!
Have a good one.
I feel a tad bit silly clad in nearly all Urban Outfitters but I am okay with it because this dress makes me feel like a princess it was only $20! I borrowed the oversized sweater my roommate//Sweater Addicts Anonymous member Beccah Baskin (who I hope to photograph and interview this weekend). I bought these bone crushing combat boots on sale at Urban as well. Deena and Ozzy combat boots for only $30! Gasp. Lust. Love.
I wear them with everything now. All in all this outfit made me feel like a whimsical goth princess and I was really into it. If only we could have found an enchanted forest to shoot in. The drama of this outfit is kind of lost in the photos in my opinion but they are still neat.
I also just got a wide angle fisheye lens attachment that is super fun to play with. It adds so much movement to the photos. Not sure If I will use it do lookbook pictures again but it definitely spices up my photos in general. Check out some other photos testing my new toy out here.
