Summer in Boulder apparently means eighty degrees and sunny one day then sixty and cloudy the next, with guaranteed three pm showers every day. Not that I'm complaining at all, the variety is refreshing and the rain reminds me of my tropical climate back home in Florida, and the overcast skies make for amazing photos, but finding the right clothes for this weather can be a task. Which is why I love this vintage floral dress from Nifty Thrifty. It is made of a light cotton but is long sleeved which makes it versatile for temperature changes, and its the perfect length where I can run errands or get lunch with a friend and not feel uncomfortable. Every girl needs a dress like this, it works for the office with the right shoes or for a casual day on the town. Add a hat or throw your hair up and you're ready to go.
As for my summer essentials, my Nikon FM2 is my number one accessory for this summer as well as my headphones and iPod. Maybe when I get around to it I'll actually make a playlist for everyone that has been asking me for one and share it on here as well. Casual floral dresses are my next favorite Summer time trend, will floral ever go out of style? Probably not. And I am such a wannabe punk that it feels nice to be a little girly every once in awhile, so more floral and color never hurt my closet.
