a look into the past

A few months back I took a trip into the Florida marshes with a photographer and friend, Alex Hamilton. Masha Sardari joined us as well, her work can be found here. The two double exposure photos in the center blossomed from her film camera and she recently released them online. Both of these photographers inspire me as a photographer but they also encourage me as an artist. It is always so lovely to surround yourself with likeminded people, the ones who want to make their dreams come true and invite you along to join. Those are the best people, the ones who know that there is enough room at the top for everyone. Creation is about sharing, not becoming better or bitter. If someone is successful and their work resembles yours, then be reminded that you can do it too. The art world is an intimidating one, but if you find the right people they'll inspire you to create and that is the most important thing.
