Stay off the Flowers // feat. Printed Blazers and Chambray

Chambray shirts are such versatile pieces, when it comes to closet essentials a good chambray shirt is a must. They can replace the cardigan as a coverup over a tank or dress or they can be worn completely on their own. Afraid of wearing a canadian tuxedo? Just make sure your denim is a different shade of blue or try a patterned or colored pair of jeans. The key to getting the perfect chambray shirt is making sure you stay away from cowboy cuts (pointed pockets, pearl snaps, etc). I wanted to try something different so I dressed this chambray shirt up with a blazer and heels, like I said this piece is versatile, and everyone needs one! My go to look is layering my chambray shirts under sweaters for a preppy profesh ensembles, but I am also often seen wearing my fathers old 'sears auto account' denim shirt as a dress with booties, of course. I'm telling you these tops are vital to have in your closet!
