I have always been a lover of crochet tops. And festival style. If you know me, then you know that I would probably be in heaven if I could just wear festival inspired clothing all of the time and style girls for Coachella for a living. Because all you need in life is a good hat and a good kimono. So when I saw this top from Windsor Store, I knew I wanted to have it. But with all of my festival dreams too far out into the future, and honestly way too cold for a crochet halter top (Outside Lands, I love you but I hate you), I knew I wanted to style this top for day to day wear. So this post is showing all of you gorgeous ladies that you can take your festival pieces and still make them suitable for brunch with the gals. P.S. I am letting you all in on a huge secret on where you buy kimonos for an affordable price...with a link to the shop! Just head down to 'The Details' of look one.

We we're greeted with rainy weather upon arrival, but as the sky cleared and the gorgeous mountains were revealed I immediately fell in love with the skyline. The mountains were a beacon of memory. The very first night we went to dinners with other attendees and sponsors. It was so much fun and a great way to open up a conference. I felt like I had friends and if I had gone alone, I wouldn't have been as terrified the next day. Unlike LuckyFABB the crowd seemed open and endearing. The following day was filled with networking, learning, and making friends. But without further adieu, here is my outfit from Day One of Alt Summit! Thankfully, the beautiful garden at the Grand America Hotel made for the perfect backdrop.

Jeremy Scott is a god, I think we all know that. So when Halloween came around all I wanted to be was an edgy modern Alien, I bought these sunglasses and planned my costume. It all never came together. My destiny that night was The Shining. My lazer gun sits with dust on the packaging and these sunglasses never had the chance to shade my eyes from the sun, until last weekend. I pulled together this all white ensemble for a look that seemed stylized and different. This honestly wouldn't be a day to day look for me, but as I mentioned before I want to spice things up around here. So have a ball, take a look at the pictures from the shoot, and maybe next year my Jeremy Scott Alien costume will come to life.

I told you the varsity jacket would come back. This time a little edgier than ever. I've been wanting to do more involved shoots that are also about the photography, not just the clothes. I want these posts to tell a story, whether it's a narrative told only by the images or one you make up in your head. I want to create editorial pieces. Because I have always wanted to be a creative director of a magazine, and for the time being, working on this blog is as close as I can get.

This post is all about the title. Not the clothes. As much as I love this new LT top, the release of Bag Raiders new song on Modular People is way more important than any outfit I will ever post. And that's because I effing love Bag Raiders. Why? Because the first festival I ever went to was so much fun, I will never forget it. Dancing around in a snowsuit at Snowball Music Festival while listening to Bag Raiders and laughing in the snow with my friends was so memorable. I am actually getting giddy thinking about it. Scroll to the end of the post for a video from the weekend and the new Bag Raiders song, Nairobi.

I LOVE WHITE. All white. And black. But right now mostly white. I keep buying white tees and I can't help it. But I am okay with it, now I just need more white shoes and pants so I can get murked out, does that work for all white? I don't know. I hope no one reads the text on this post. I don't have anything to say right now. Ahh!

Shopping at thrift stores can be intimidating. When your vintage isn't organized by size and color – it's a lot to handle. I know. But getting down to the nitty gritty is worth it. Leaving a Salvation Army covered in dust and let's face it, feeling like you need to take a shower, is very rewarding when you look at your reapings. And your wallet. I am a little out of practice, so when I walked into one of the most disheveled looking Salvation Army's I've ever seen, I almost walked out. But I kept with it, and in my head, I started putting together a list of tips. P.S. Shout out to Florida for having the cleanest and most bountiful thrift stores ever. If you ever find yourself in Florida, visit the Goodwills and all of the other thrift stores you drive by, they're INSANE.

I love putting together looks that are soft and edgy at the same time. Combining soft colors with leather or black pieces just get me going. San Francisco is kind of like that in it's own way too. It combines urbanality with nature. One minute you're in a quaint neighborhood, the next you're looking over a landscape speckled with city lights. Combining elements will always be a passion of mine, it's the way I still let art influence myself and my surroundings.

I cannot get over leather vests right now. Leather vests and YSL. I could die a happy girl outfitted in ripped jeans, Saint Laurent, and leather. But of course I am a huge fan of combining feminine and rugged details. Pink full skirts and moto jackets. You had me at, you guessed it, leather. In any case, here are some looks and pieces I'm loving right now. If anyone wants to crowdfund my closet, I won't complain.
