We all need to get better about making time. Making time for ourselves, our passions, and others. We need to get better about making time to do our jobs and do a good job doing them! Then, we need to make time to relax from working so hard on our jobs. I am constantly asked, "If you could change one thing about your job, what would it be?" And my answer always is, "I wish I had more time in the day." But the truth is you can always make time. You can learn to be more efficient, learn to say no, learn to prioritize, and trust others to help you. You can in turn help others make time by helping them when they need it. And when you do these things it reflects positivity into your life at home and in the office. When you come home and make time for you loved ones or take a moment to take a vacation and make time to spend when your family, it will be worth it in the end. Time is such a funny thing because end all be all – it's sacred and it expires. You do not have unlimited time, it's precious, though it seems like you have a lot you really don't. For example, the past 2 and 1/2 years have gone by so quickly for me it has made me realize how scarce time is. Before you know it your youth will be behind you! But maybe I am just noticing this after seeing my new forehead wrinkles in the mirror yesterday. And now I continue to blab on and therefore wasting YOUR precious time, but I just wanted to take a minute to get you (and myself) thinking about this intriguing concept! What will you do? Make more time or appreciate more moments therefore making the most of your current time? Or both!
