This patchwork denim skirt has been apart of my uniform lately. I love how it fits and that I can make it feminine or super edgy mod with the swap of a top. We shot this in one of the many gorgeous alleys of Fitzroy Melbourne, the bright colored houses and romantic architecture created a brooklyn esque laid back aesthetic that I absolutely loved...it's a shock anyone could ever leave this area! This look is perfect for beachy days, long extended brunches, or hey, even a festival! I love how fun this off the shoulder fringe tassel top is, I'll wear it with overalls or high waisted jeans and both look phenomenal! Both of these items are from Akira, if you haven't shopped there before take a look and if you have, you need to see their new arrivals! Use my code FOX15 for 15% off sitewide (including sale!), but hurry it's only valid until April 30th!

I'll go ahead and apologize in advance for this long post. These photos are from a beach we spent the day at in Northern Wollongong, New South Wales. If you read my last post, you already know that I traded festival season for a trip to Australia this year. I still live life like I was at a festival, dancing with friends and doing exciting things like jumping out of planes, but I traded the 3 day memories for some lifelong memories. And luckily, Australia has such great style and weather that I could still dress like I was going to a festival anyway. The highlights of this trip was far greater than an outfit, a beach, or skydiving...the highlights of this trip were discovering what being myself meant and how important friends that help bring out that self are the ones you should have around. Self discovery aside, this dress made me feel like spinning, dancing, and leaping in the ocean. It's from Express and I have been blown away by their styles lately. Take a look here and shop this outfit below.

Over the past two weeks you may have noticed that I hadn't been posting that much on Stone Fox Style (unless you follow me on instagram too!). I traveled to Australia with my roommate in lieu of going to Coachella this year...but if you know me you know I can't sacrifice festival style AND the festival itself. What can I say? I eat, sleep, and breathe boho and festival season is the only time where I can truly dress the most boho I possible can. Except if this were my exact coachella outfit I would probably have some sort of glitter on my face and definitely a few more anklets...but for those of you who can't deck out in glitter but still want to embrace festival season style this look is perfect. Urban Outfitters has so many amazing pieces for festival season, from this top which is sexy but classy (perfect for festivals and date night), to beauty items to keep you refreshed (whether you're staying in a campervan in Australia or in the desert in Indio). I loved pairing this top with this high slit skirt I found at a boutique in Lorne, it added the final festival flare I needed to pull together this look. Get the top I'm wearing here. You won't regret it! Layered with a bralette or worn open, it's truly my favorite top right now. How do you show your festival spirit from day to day? Is it tassels? Layering necklaces? Shop some of my favorite festival pieces for day-to-day or desert-to-dancing from Urban Outfitters below! Plus get ready for more Australia photos and festival picks over the next few days.
